Interesting use of identical panel sizes. It reduces excitement and makes me feel like I'm being TOLD what's happening rather than being SHOWN (despite the complete lack of text), but that's not necessarily a bad thing, depending on what you want the scene to feel like.

That's a very interesting way to view it, I must say. Never thought of it like that. The inspiration for my panel setup have always been European comics: Tintin, Asterix etc. These generally are far less "experimental" in panel size than their American and Japanese equivalent. I always liked this setup though because more frames per page = more story I can tell on a single page.
